TRIUMF Alumni account

Every alumni account is setup with an non-TRIUMF email address. They are used for communication between TRIUMF and the alumni community. Messages sent to the alumni address will be forwarded to this email address. To update the email address, the alumni account needs to be setup first.

To setup alumni account the first time:

Login to office.com using the alumni credential e.g. jdoe@alumni.triumf.ca. TRIUMF IST will be providing the information when the account is setup the first time. The setup wizard will prompt for configuring MFA (Mutli-Factor-Authentication). You will need to use your personal phone as secondary authentication device. Follow the instructions to complete the setup.

To update email address in the alumni account:

  • Login to office.com using the alumni credential.
  • Launch Outlook by clicking on the 9 dots on the upper left corner of the browser window and select Outlook.
  • Click on the gear icon in Outlook. The setting window will be displayed.
  • Select forwarding on the menu. From there, you can update your email address. Save the change.

To change alumni account credential:

  • Login to office.com using the alumni credentials.
  • Click on the profile icon at the top right corner and select View account.
  • Click on Change password. Update your credential there.
