Changing Your Password

• Open the TRIDENT Password Manager
• Enter your username and the CAPTCHA text
• Click on Manage My Passwords
• Enter your current password
• Enter a new password which complies with the policy rules

Password Policy Rules

The password you choose is subject to the following rules:

Must contain:

• At least 8 characters (maximum 40 characters)
• At least 1 lower-case letter (a-z)
• At least 1 upper-case letter (A-Z)
• At least 1 digit (0-9)
• At least 1 special character from:
  ! " # $ % & ' ( ) * + , - . / : ; < = > ? @ [ \ ] ^ _ ` { } ~

Must NOT contain:

• More than 2 characters repeated in succession
• More than 3 identical characters
• More than 2 characters in direct or reverse numerical or alphabetical order, e.g. ABC or 321
