Resetting your password

  • Open the TRIDENT Password Manager
  • Enter your username and the CAPTCHA text
  • Click on "Forgot My Password"
  • Provide the answers you had previously created when you completed your Q&A profile
  • Enter a new password which complies with the policy rules

What if you don't know your password or the answers for the Q&A?

  • Go to TRIUMF Helpdesk and login with username = guest
  • Create a ticket in the General-Support queue with your TRIDENT username in the subject
  • In the body of the request, include contact info such as your phone number and non-TRIUMF email address

Someone from TRIUMF IS&T will contact you to verify your identity, and will provide a passcode that is valid for 60 minutes

  • Open the TRIDENT Password Manager
  • Enter your username and the CAPTCHA text
  • Click on "I Have a Passcode"
  • Enter the passcode, then proceed to reset your password and update your Q&A profile

Unlocking your account

If your account is locked due to too many failed logon attempts, then Password Manager will display an option called "Unlock My Account"

  • Provide your answers to the Q&A profile
