Ivanti Secure-Access Client on MS-Windows
Use these instructions for installing the Ivanti application on a non-TRIUMF MS-Windows computer; i.e. an MS-Windows computer that was not setup by TRIUMF IS&T, hence not joined to the TRWIN domain.
If TRIUMF IS&T setup your MS-Windows laptop, then the Ivanti software will already be installed, so jump straight to the configuration step.
Manually Installing the Ivanti VPN-client
The installers have names like: ps-pulse-win-VERSION-64-bit-installer.msi
- Download the latest installer from: VPN_Installers_for_Windows
- Open your Downloads folder
- Double click the installer
- Follow the on-screen instructions
Configuring the Ivanti VPN-client
Launch the application called: Ivanti Secure Access Client
Add a connection Profile using the following settings:
Add a profile with the following settings.
Type: Policy Secure (UAC) or Connect Secure (VPN)
Name: TRIUMF
Server: vpn.triumf.ca
